How To Make Penne with Griddled Steak, Stilton & Shallots

Ingredients
- 8 oz penne pasta
- 12 oz steak, thinly sliced
- 1 cup stilton cheese, crumbled
- 2 shallots, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

Preheat a griddle or grill pan over high heat. Season the steak with salt and pepper.

Cook the steak on the griddle for 2-3 minutes per side, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the shallots and garlic, and sauté until caramelized and golden brown.

Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet with the caramelized shallots and garlic. Toss to combine and cook for 2-3 minutes.

Slice the griddled steak into thin strips and add it to the pan with the pasta.

Add the crumbled stilton cheese to the skillet and gently toss until the cheese starts to melt and coat the pasta.

Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve the penne with griddled steak, stilton, and shallots hot, garnished with fresh parsley.
