How To Make Chef John’s Classic Macaroni Salad Recipe

Ingredients
- 8 ounces elbow macaroni
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup diced celery
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup diced sweet pickles
- 2 hard-boiled eggs, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Instructions

Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water. Set aside.

In a large bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, vinegar, mustard, sugar, salt, and black pepper.

Add the cooked macaroni, celery, red onion, sweet pickles, chopped eggs, and parsley to the bowl. Mix well to combine.
