Ingredients

  • 1 small cauliflower head, grated
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped
  • 2 green chilies, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1-inch ginger, grated
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Fresh coriander leaves, for garnishing

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.

  2. Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.

  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger. Sauté for a minute.

  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.

  5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

  6. Add grated cauliflower and mix everything together.

  7. Cook covered on low heat for 5-7 minutes or until cauliflower is cooked, stirring occasionally.

  8. Sprinkle garam masala and mix well. Cook for another 2 minutes.

  9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot.
