- 1 cup basmati rice
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup almonds, sliced
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp butter or ghee
Instructions

Rinse the basmati rice under cold water until the water runs clear.

In a medium-sized saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Add the rice, almonds, cinnamon stick, salt, and butter/ghee.
