How To Make Tomato Basil Penne Pasta Recipe

Ingredients
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup fresh basil, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions

Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.

Add the diced tomatoes and tomato sauce to the skillet. Stir well and let it simmer for 10 minutes.

Stir in the chopped basil and season with salt and pepper.

Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated with the sauce.

Serve hot with a sprinkle of grated Parmesan cheese.
