  • 4 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).

  2. In a large bowl, toss the broccoli florets with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).

  3. Arrange the seasoned broccoli on a baking sheet in a single layer.

  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges of the broccoli are crispy and browned.

  5. Remove from the oven and drizzle with lemon juice. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top.

  6. Serve the roasted broccoli as a side dish or as a healthy snack.
