How To Make Spaghetti with White Clam Sauce

Ingredients
- 8 ounces spaghetti
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 2 cans (6.5 ounces each) chopped clams, drained, juices reserved
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Cook spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, cook until garlic is fragrant.

Add white wine and simmer for 2 minutes, allowing the alcohol to cook off.

Stir in the chopped clams and reserved clam juices. Cook for 5 minutes.

Reduce heat to low and stir in heavy cream. Simmer for another 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.

Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Add cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss to coat with the sauce.

Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
