Ingredients

  • 8 ounces of pasta
  • 4 cups of greens (such as kale or spinach)
  • 4 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon of red pepper flakes
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for serving

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook until garlic becomes fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  3. Add the greens to the skillet and sauté until wilted, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat everything through.

  5. Serve the pasta with garlicky greens hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
