How To Make Fresh Tomato Pasta

Ingredients
- 8 oz spaghetti
- 4 medium tomatoes, diced
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Grated Parmesan cheese for serving
Instructions

Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.

Add the diced tomatoes to the pan and cook for 5-7 minutes, until they start to break down and release their juices.

Season with salt and pepper, then add the cooked spaghetti to the pan. Toss to combine and coat the pasta with the sauce.

Stir in the fresh basil leaves and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Serve the pasta hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.
