How To Make Fresh Semolina and Egg Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups semolina flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • Water (if needed)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the semolina flour and salt. Make a well in the center.

  2. Crack the eggs into the well and slowly start incorporating the flour into the eggs.

  3. Knead the mixture into a smooth and elastic dough. If the dough is too dry, add a little water.

  4. Cover the dough with a clean cloth and let it rest for 30 minutes.

  5. Divide the dough into smaller portions and roll each portion into a thin sheet using a pasta machine or rolling pin.

  6. Cut the rolled dough into desired pasta shapes such as fettuccine, spaghetti, or ravioli.

  7. Cook the fresh pasta in a large pot of boiling salted water for about 3-5 minutes or until al dente.

  8. Drain the cooked pasta and toss with your favorite sauce or toppings.
