How To Make Seared Ahi Tuna Steaks

Ingredients
- 4 ahi tuna steaks (about 6 oz each)
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp ginger powder
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions

In a shallow dish, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, olive oil, black pepper, garlic powder, and ginger powder. Mix well.

Add the tuna steaks to the marinade and let them sit for 10 minutes, turning once.

Heat a non-stick skillet over high heat. Remove the tuna steaks from the marinade, shaking off any excess.

Sear the tuna steaks for 2-3 minutes on each side for medium-rare doneness. Cook for an additional minute per side for medium.

Remove the tuna steaks from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes.
