Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, bell pepper, garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, thyme, and eggs.

  3. Mix the ingredients until well combined, but avoid overmixing.

  4. Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.

  5. Bake the meatloaf in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).

  6. Remove the meatloaf from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  7. Serve hot and enjoy!
