How To Make Sausage Casserole with Garlic Toasts

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 4 sausages, sliced
- 2 carrots, peeled and chopped
- 2 potatoes, peeled and diced
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 slices of bread
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, sauté until fragrant.

Add the sliced sausages to the skillet and cook until browned.

Stir in the chopped carrots, diced potatoes, chopped tomatoes, chicken broth, dried thyme, and dried oregano. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and cover with foil. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour.

In the meantime, make the garlic toasts. Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread. Sprinkle minced garlic on top.

Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the bread slices, butter side down. Cook until golden brown and crispy.

Serve the sausage casserole hot, garnished with fresh parsley, alongside the garlic toasts.
