How To Make Honey & Mustard Sausage Casserole

Ingredients
- 8 pork sausages
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons whole grain mustard
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the sausages and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from the skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, add the sliced onion and minced garlic. Cook until the onion is soft and translucent.

In a small bowl, whisk together the whole grain mustard, honey, chicken broth, cornstarch, salt, and pepper. Pour this mixture over the onions and garlic in the skillet.

Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes, until the sauce thickens.

Return the sausages to the skillet, coating them with the sauce. Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the sausages are fully cooked and the sauce is bubbly.

Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
