Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup ham, diced
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded chicken, diced ham, chopped onion, bell pepper, minced garlic, cheddar cheese, mayonnaise, sour cream, dried thyme, salt, and pepper.

  3. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.

  4. Grease a baking dish and spread the cooked rice evenly on the bottom.

  5. Pour the chicken and ham mixture over the rice and spread it evenly.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and golden brown on top.

  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

  8. Serve the Chicken and Ham Casserole hot and enjoy!
