How To Make Bean Burrito Casserole

Ingredients
- 1 can of refried beans
- 1 can of black beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 cup of salsa
- 1 teaspoon of cumin
- 1 teaspoon of chili powder
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups of shredded Mexican cheese blend
- Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, sliced jalapenos, sour cream, guacamole, chopped cilantro
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a mixing bowl, combine refried beans, black beans, salsa, cumin, and chili powder.

Spread a thin layer of the bean mixture onto the bottom of a greased 9×9-inch baking dish.

Place a tortilla on top of the bean mixture and spread another layer of the bean mixture on top. Sprinkle with cheese.

Repeat the layers, ending with a tortilla on top. Reserve some cheese for topping.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle with the remaining cheese.

Return to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly before serving.

Serve with your favorite burrito toppings.
