Ingredients

  • 1 lb lamb, cut into cubes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1 cup Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup pomegranate arils
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh mint
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, salt, pepper, and olive oil. Mix well.

  2. Add the lamb cubes to the marinade and coat evenly. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes.

  3. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  4. Thread the marinated lamb cubes onto skewers.

  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the lamb is cooked to your desired doneness.

  6. While the lamb is grilling, prepare the pomegranate tzatziki sauce. In a bowl, combine the Greek yogurt, pomegranate arils, mint, and parsley. Mix well.

  7. Serve the spiced lamb skewers with the pomegranate tzatziki sauce on the side.
