How To Make Barbecued Greek Lamb with Tzatziki

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs of lamb chops
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
- 1 tsp of dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- For the tzatziki sauce:
- 1 cup of Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cucumber, grated and squeezed to remove excess moisture
- 1 clove of garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp of fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp of chopped fresh dill
- Salt and pepper to taste

In a bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, dried oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Place lamb chops in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Ensure the chops are coated evenly. Marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.

Remove the lamb chops from the marinade and grill for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness.

While the lamb is grilling, prepare the tzatziki sauce. In a bowl, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped dill, salt, and pepper. Mix well.

Once the lamb chops are done, remove from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.

Serve the grilled lamb chops with a side of tzatziki sauce.
