How To Make Chinese Spareribs

Serves:

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds of pork spareribs
  • 1/4 cup of soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of hoisin sauce
  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon of Chinese five spice powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
  • 1 green onion, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, garlic, Chinese five spice powder, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Place the spareribs in a baking dish and pour the sauce over them, making sure to coat them evenly.

  4. Cover the dish with foil and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes.

  5. Remove the foil and turn the spareribs over. Increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the ribs are browned and crispy.

  6. Garnish with sliced green onions before serving.
