Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz goat cheese, crumbled
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1 tbsp fresh tarragon leaves, chopped
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. On a floured surface, roll out puff pastry and place in tart pan.

  3. In a bowl, mix together goat cheese, heavy cream, tarragon, salt, and pepper.

  4. Pour mixture into pastry shell and spread evenly.

  5. Brush beaten egg around edges of pastry.

  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.

  7. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
