How To Make Sage and Blueberry Scones

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, chilled and cubed
- 1/4 cup fresh sage leaves, chopped
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 2/3 cup heavy cream
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

Using a pastry blender or your hands, cut in the butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir in the chopped sage and blueberries.

Gradually add the heavy cream, stirring just until the dough comes together.

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead gently.

Pat the dough into a circle about 3/4 inch thick.

Cut the dough into 8 wedges and place them onto the prepared baking sheet.

Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until the scones are golden brown.
