How To Make Mini Sage & Onion Scones

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh sage
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
Instructions

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, and salt. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry cutter or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Stir in the chopped sage and onion.

Gradually add the milk and mix until a soft dough forms.

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead it gently a few times until it comes together.

Roll the dough to about 1/2 inch thickness and cut out mini round shapes using a cookie cutter or a small glass.

Place the mini scones onto the prepared baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until they turn golden brown.
