How To Make Oregano and Mozzarella Stuffed Chicken Recipe

This chicken breast is stuffed with melted mozzarella cheese and fresh oregano, seasoned to perfection.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 2 tbsp fresh oregano, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

  2. Cut a pocket into each chicken breast, being careful not to cut all the way through.

  3. Stuff each chicken breast with 2 oz of shredded mozzarella cheese and 1/2 tbsp of chopped oregano. Season with salt and pepper.

  4. Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat and add the olive oil.

  5. Sear the chicken breasts for 2-3 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

  6. Transfer the skillet to the oven and bake the chicken for 15-20 minutes or until cooked through.

  7. Serve hot.
