How To Make Whole 30 Beef and Broccoli Recipe
A healthy version of the classic Chinese take-out beef and broccoli dish.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, sliced into thin strips
- 3 cups broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp avocado oil
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch piece of ginger, grated
- 1/2 cup coconut aminos
- 1/4 cup rice vinegar
- 2 tsp arrowroot powder
- Sea salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions

Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the avocado oil.

Season the beef with salt and pepper. Add it to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned.

Remove the beef from the skillet and set it aside.

Add the garlic and ginger to the skillet and cook for 30 seconds.

Add the broccoli and cook for 3-4 minutes.

In a small bowl, whisk together the coconut aminos, rice vinegar, and arrowroot powder.

Pour the mixture into the skillet with the broccoli and garlic. Stir to combine.

Add the beef back to the skillet and cook for another 3-4 minutes until the sauce has thickened and the beef is cooked through.
