  • 4 ripe tomatoes, diced
  • 2 bell peppers, diced
  • 1 red onion, finely chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, bell peppers, red onion, garlic, jalapeno pepper, and cilantro.

  2. Add lime juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.

  3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to allow the flavors to meld.

  4. Serve the tomato and pepper dip with tortilla chips or vegetables.
