How To Make Hot Dog Chili Sauce

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste

In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.

Add the diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the onion is translucent.

Stir in the tomato sauce, tomato paste, ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper.

Simmer the sauce on low heat for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
