- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon yellow mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Heat olive oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until they become translucent.
