Ingredients

  • 250g paneer, cubed
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 2 tbsp tandoori masala
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 tsp red chili powder
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 ripe mango, diced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1 small cucumber, diced
  • 1 small green chili, seeded and finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 skewers

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix yogurt, tandoori masala, lemon juice, ginger-garlic paste, chili powder, and salt.

  2. Add paneer cubes to the marinade and coat well. Let it marinate for 10-15 minutes.

  3. Preheat grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.

  4. Thread marinated paneer onto skewers and grill for 3-4 minutes on each side, until well-charred.

  5. Meanwhile, prepare the mango salsa by combining mango, red onion, cucumber, green chili, cilantro, lime juice, and salt in a bowl.

  6. Serve tandoori paneer skewers hot with mango salsa on the side.
