Ingredients

  • 2 cups spinach, chopped
  • 200 grams paneer, cut into cubes
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 green chilies, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 1/4 cup fresh cream
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tablespoons oil

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them splutter.

  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.

  3. Add ginger-garlic paste and green chilies. Cook for a minute.

  4. Add pureed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates.

  5. Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, and salt. Mix well.

  6. Add chopped spinach and cook until it wilts down.

  7. Add paneer cubes and mix gently. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

  8. Add garam masala powder and fresh cream. Mix well and cook for another minute.

  9. Serve hot with roti or rice.
