  • 1 kg squished tomatoes
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.

  3. Add squished tomatoes, dried basil, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and sugar to the pan.

  4. Simmer the sauce for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Serve the squished tomato pasta sauce over cooked pasta of your choice.
