How To Make Spicy Rice with Beans

Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 jalapeno, seeded and diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional for extra heat)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, jalapeno, and red bell pepper. Cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Add cumin, paprika, chili powder, and cayenne pepper. Stir to coat the vegetables with the spices.

Add cooked rice and black beans to the skillet. Stir well to combine everything together. Cook for an additional 5-7 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.

Season with salt and pepper to taste.
