How To Make Refried Roasties

Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, peeled and cut into chunks
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).

In a large pot of salted water, boil the potatoes for 10 minutes or until tender. Drain and let them cool slightly.

In a large baking tray, add the vegetable oil and place it in the oven for 3-4 minutes to heat up.

Carefully remove the hot tray from the oven and add the boiled potatoes. Coat them evenly with the oil.

Sprinkle the salt, paprika, garlic powder, and black pepper over the potatoes. Toss them gently to coat.

Return the tray to the oven and roast the potatoes for 40 minutes or until they are golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.

Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
