How To Make Polenta Tart with Sausage & Broccoli

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups polenta
- 4 cups water
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch tart pan.

In a medium saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Slowly whisk in the polenta and continue whisking for 5 minutes, until thickened.

Stir in the Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Remove from heat.

Meanwhile, in a large skillet, cook the Italian sausage over medium heat until browned and cooked through. Remove from heat and drain any excess grease.

In a pot of boiling water, blanch the broccoli florets for 2 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop the cooking process.

Spread the polenta mixture evenly into the prepared tart pan. Top with the cooked sausage, broccoli florets, and shredded mozzarella cheese.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, until the tart is heated through and the cheese is melted and golden.

Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
