How To Make Panuozzo Sandwich

Ingredients
- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 cup cooked and sliced chicken
- 1/2 cup sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 cup sliced black olives
- 1/4 cup sliced red onions
- 1/4 cup sliced green bell peppers
- 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

Divide the pizza dough into 4 equal portions and roll each portion into a thin oval shape.

Spread marinara sauce on one half of each dough portion, leaving a border around the edges.

Layer mozzarella cheese, chicken, pepperoni, black olives, red onions, bell peppers, and mushrooms on top of the sauce.

Fold the other half of the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.

Place the sandwiches on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush the tops of the sandwiches with olive oil and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.

Remove from the oven and let the sandwiches cool for a few minutes.

Garnish with fresh basil leaves before serving.
