How To Make Oat & Chia Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 2 cups milk (dairy or plant-based)
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Optional toppings: fresh fruits, nuts, or seeds

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine the oats, milk, chia seeds, honey or maple syrup, and vanilla extract.

  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 5-7 minutes, or until the oats are cooked and the porridge has thickened.

  3. Divide the porridge into serving bowls and top with your choice of fresh fruits, nuts, or seeds.

  4. Serve warm and enjoy!
