Ingredients

  • 1 cup hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spread hazelnuts on a baking sheet. Toast in the oven for 10 minutes or until fragrant and golden brown. Remove from oven and let cool slightly.

  2. Place the cooled hazelnuts in a food processor and blend until they form a smooth paste, about 5 minutes, scraping down the sides as needed.

  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the dark chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until fully melted and smooth.

  4. Add the melted chocolate, honey, and salt to the hazelnut paste in the food processor. Blend until well combined and creamy, about 2 minutes.

  5. Transfer the hazelnut and chocolate butter to a jar or airtight container. Allow it to cool completely before serving.
