How To Make Green Beans with Shallots

- 1 lb green beans, trimmed
- 2 shallots, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes, until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shallots and cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened.

Add the green beans to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, until the beans are warmed through and coated in the shallot mixture.

Remove from heat and serve hot.
