Ingredients

  • 1 lb green beans, trimmed
  • 2 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the green beans and cook for 3-4 minutes, until crisp-tender. Drain and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the shallots and cook for 2-3 minutes, until softened.

  3. Add the green beans to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Sauté for 3-4 minutes, until the beans are warmed through and coated in the shallot mixture.

  4. Remove from heat and serve hot.
