How To Make Glazed Sprouts with Caramelised Red Onions

- 1 lb Brussels sprouts, halved
- 2 red onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp honey
- Salt and pepper to taste

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

In a large bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Spread them out on a baking sheet in a single layer.

Roast the sprouts in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until they are tender and starting to brown.

While the sprouts are roasting, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, until they are caramelised and golden brown, about 10-15 minutes.

In a small bowl, whisk together the balsamic vinegar and honey.

Remove the sprouts from the oven and transfer them to a large mixing bowl. Pour the balsamic-honey mixture over the sprouts and toss until they are coated evenly.

Serve the glazed sprouts topped with the caramelised red onions.
