Ingredients

  • 6 cups mixed salad greens
  • 1 cup red grapes, halved
  • 1 cup seedless green grapes, halved
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 1/2 cup pecans
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar

Instructions

  1. In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, red grapes, green grapes, and crumbled blue cheese.

  2. In a small skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the pecans and brown sugar, and cook until the pecans are caramelised and coated in the sugar mixture, about 5 minutes.

  3. Remove the pecans from the skillet and let them cool.

  4. Sprinkle the caramelised pecans over the salad.

  5. Serve the salad immediately.
