How To Make Creamed Leek Tart

Ingredients
- 1 leek, trimmed and thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup grated cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 pre-made pie crust
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

In a skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the sliced leeks and sauté until soft and translucent.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, grated cheese, salt, and pepper.

Place the pre-made pie crust in a tart or quiche pan. Arrange the sautéed leeks evenly on top of the crust.

Pour the cream and egg mixture over the leeks.

Bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes, or until the tart is golden brown and set.

Allow the tart to cool slightly before slicing and serving.
