How To Make Classic Pancakes

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 3/4 cups milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- Additional butter for greasing the pan
Instructions

In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and melted butter.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. The batter may be slightly lumpy. Do not overmix.

Heat a large non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt a small amount of butter in the pan.

Use a 1/3 cup measuring cup to pour the batter onto the skillet or griddle. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side.

Repeat with the remaining batter, adding more butter to the pan as needed.

Serve the pancakes warm with your favorite toppings such as maple syrup, fresh fruit, or whipped cream.
