Ingredients

  • 4 whole wheat pitta breads
  • 1 cup of hummus
  • 1 cup of sliced cucumber
  • 1 cup of sliced tomatoes
  • 1 cup of sliced red onion
  • 1 cup of mixed greens
  • 1/2 cup of feta cheese, crumbled
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).

  2. Warm the pitta breads in the oven for about 5 minutes or until slightly crisp.

  3. Cut the pitta breads in half to create pockets.

  4. Spread a generous amount of hummus inside each pitta pocket.

  5. Fill the pockets with sliced cucumber, tomatoes, red onion, mixed greens, and crumbled feta cheese.

  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  7. Serve the pitta pockets immediately and enjoy!
