How To Make Bonfire Night Baked Potatoes

- 4 large baking potatoes
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 4 tbsp sour cream
- 4 green onions, chopped
- 4 slices cooked bacon, crumbled
Instructions

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).

Scrub the potatoes and pat them dry. Prick each potato several times with a fork.

Rub each potato with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

Place the potatoes directly on the oven rack and bake for 60-70 minutes, or until they are tender when pierced with a fork.

Remove the potatoes from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.

Slice each potato in half lengthwise and fluff the flesh with a fork.

Top each potato half with grated cheddar cheese, sour cream, chopped green onions, and crumbled bacon.
