How To Make 3-Veg Mac ‘n’ Cheese

Ingredients
- 8 oz macaroni
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup cauliflower florets
- 1 cup diced carrots
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
Instructions

Cook the macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

In a large pan, steam the broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots until tender. Set aside.

In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the flour and cook for 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Gradually whisk in the milk and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and stir in the shredded cheddar cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and black pepper.

Add the cooked macaroni and steamed vegetables to the cheese sauce. Stir until well combined.
