Ingredients

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 4 wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, sesame oil, cornstarch, and black pepper.

  2. Add the beef cubes to the marinade and mix well to ensure each piece is coated.

  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight.

  4. Preheat the grill or oven to 350°F.

  5. Skewer the marinated beef cubes and grill or bake for 12-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked to your desired doneness.

  6. Allow the skewers to cool for a few minutes, then serve and enjoy!
