Serves:

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pork tenderloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon jerk seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Wooden skewers, soaked in water

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, olive oil, lime juice, garlic, jerk seasoning, allspice, cinnamon, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and pepper. Mix well.

  2. Add the pork cubes to the marinade and toss to coat. Let the pork marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to overnight in the refrigerator.

  3. Preheat grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.

  4. Thread the marinated pork onto the soaked wooden skewers, dividing evenly.

  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the pork is cooked through and slightly charred.

  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes before serving.

  7. Serve the jerk-ish pork skewers with your favorite side dishes and enjoy!
