How To Make Ruby Tuesday Prime Rib Recipe

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs prime rib roast
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 1 tbsp dried rosemary
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups beef broth

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F.

  2. In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, garlic powder, dried thyme, dried rosemary, salt, and black pepper.

  3. Rub the mixture all over the prime rib roast.

  4. Place the roast on a rack in a roasting pan and pour beef broth into the pan.

  5. Roast the prime rib for 15 minutes, then reduce the oven temperature to 325°F and continue to roast for 1 hour and 15 minutes for medium rare.

  6. Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 15 minutes before carving. Serve with the pan drippings as au jus.
