How To Make Quick Pickled Red Onions
Tangy and crisp pickled red onions that add a punch of flavor to any dish.

Ingredients
- 1 large red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black peppercorns
Instructions

In a small saucepan, combine the apple cider vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and black peppercorns. Bring to a boil.

Place the sliced red onions in a heatproof container or jar.

Pour the hot vinegar mixture over the onions and let it cool to room temperature.

Once cooled, cover the container or jar and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
