  • 2 cucumbers, thinly sliced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and black pepper. Stir until sugar and salt dissolve.

  2. Place sliced red onions in a jar and pour the vinegar mixture over them. Let it sit for at least 10 minutes to pickle.

  3. In a large bowl, combine sliced cucumbers and pickled red onions.

  4. Add fresh dill and toss until well combined.

  5. Serve immediately or refrigerate for later.
