How To Make Low Carb Ground Turkey Stir-Fry
A healthy stir-fry loaded with ground turkey, veggies, and Asian-inspired flavors.
Serves:
Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 yellow onion, sliced
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, minced
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Green onions, chopped (optional)
Instructions

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil and ground turkey. Cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.

Add the sliced bell pepper and onion to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until tender.

Add minced garlic and ginger and cook for 1-2 minutes.

In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Pour the sauce over the turkey and veggies and stir to combine.

Cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until heated through and the sauce has thickened.

Top with chopped green onions if desired and serve.
